SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
Purpose:
To provide a scholarship to High School graduating "Preachers' Kids" (PK Scholarship) interested or intending to pursue further higher educational endeavors at a College, University or Technology Career Center.
Award Components:
Scholarship Awarded Annually to individuals (Preachers' Kids) selected by the Ministers' Wives Scholarship Committee. Scholarship awards will be payable to the graduating high school student upon verification of acceptance and enrollment into a College, University or Technology Career Center.

Scholarship Criteria:
- Applicant must be a member in good standing in a local temple of the Church of The Living God.
- Applicant must be the child or grandchild of a Church of The Living God Minister.
- Applicant must be a graduating high school senior in the year of the award.
- Applicant must be between the ages of 16 and 21.
- Must have not been previously awarded this scholarship.
- Must have a High School GPA of at least 3.0.
- Applicant must have demonstrated leadership in their local temple and district.
- Applicant must present a letter of recommendation from their local pastor. Inclusive of all auxiliaries' participation and offices held in those auxiliaries.
- Applicant must be active in a youth auxiliary, such as: Sunday School, Youth Choir, Youth Usher Board, Y.P.P.U. and/or Y.A.M., Children Church, etc.
- Copy of College acceptance letter and proof enrollment.
- Applicant must complete a typed application form (handwritten and/or incomplete applications will not be processed).
- Letter of application must be submitted to the Scholarship Committee.
- The Essay should contain a brief explanation of Christian accomplishments, career goals, biographical (background) information, and why you should be considered for the PK Scholarship.
- Letter of recommendation from applicant's pastor and auxiliary sponsor/s.
- An Official High School transcript with cumulative grade point average and a class standing/rank.
- Senior class pictures, 1 – 4x6 and 1 – 5x7; pictures can be scanned and emailed.
- Scholarship Award based of available funds.
- Applicant does not have to be present to receive Scholarship.
- No Applications will be accepted after the first day of the National Convention.
